About me

Missy grew up in the west Somerset countryside and has lived in Lancashire, The Lake District, Derbyshire, Norfolk and London, she currently lives and works in Wiltshire with her husband and little, but very loud, dachshund called Tuppence.

She has a varied work life and since lockdown has been able to explore the boundaries of printmaking, honing her craft and taking on commissions, mainly of peoples’ pets. Her other love is stained glass which she studied at Hammersmith.

Most of Missy’s art work is inspired by nature and her surroundings, it often begins with a sketch or watercolour, which is then translated into print. Missy likes to push the boundaries of the chosen medium through experimentation, before settling on a style that she feels suits the subject matter.
